To do justice to The Times and its readers on most any of the aspects of the crisis would truly require broadsheet-sized news stories to supply the facts necessary for readers to really be able to arrive at informed opinions.While there is some continuity of theme to all these events — greed, absence of regulation, cheap money, irresponsible lending and management and so on — the nuance is massive and nearly impossible to explore in 1,000 words.
